SET index down 4.19 pct

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) index on Tuesday closed at 433.81 points, losing 18.99 points or 4.19 per cent. The market value was around 12.9 billion baht, with about 3.37 billion shares being traded.

The SET100 index ended at 641.08 points, reducing by 32.84 points or 4.87 per cent. The SET50 index closed 15.75 points or 4.97 per cent lower to close at 301.33 points.

The FSTHL index lost 24.90 points or 4.75 per cent lower, to close at 499.74. The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index also lost 5.38 points or 3.12 per cent, to stand at 166.84.

The top five most active values were as follows.

PTT decreased to 156.00 baht, down by 12.00 (-7.14%).

PTTEP decreased to 100.00 baht, down by 8.00 (-7.41%).

BANPU decreased to 220.00 baht, down by 20.00 (-8.33%).

ITD decreased to 2.36 baht, down by 0.48 (-16.90%).

KBANK decreased to 45.00 baht, down by 1.50 (-3.23%).
